La Banda de Oaxaca was born from a lifelong love for México, one that began in childhood through stories, movies, legendary football moments (yes, that hand of God), wearing handmade Mexican boots, and early lasting family travels.

What started as fascination became a deep admiration for México’s rich culture, vibrant history, and the warmth of its people. From childhood adventures with my parents to unforgettable journeys with my own family, closest friends, and my hermano, I was drawn ever deeper into the heart and spirit of this land...let’s just say, both kinds hit hard.

Along the way, I made deep connections, traveled across the country, embraced local traditions, and felt the fire and flavor of México in ways words can’t capture.

La Banda de Oaxaca only exists because of the friendships made along the way, friends who became family, who became la Banda.

Together with local maestros rooted in generations of know-how, we crafted a spirit that carries México’s corazón in every drop.
